In the early hours of 12 August 2016 there was a serious assault involving knives in the Lower High Street in Cheltenham where a male sustained multiple stab wounds during an attack.  Today, two males from London have been charged with attempted murder in relation to this.   They are:-

24 year old Jordan Weston of Southend Lane, London SE6 and 20 year old Uzoma Izenwa of Sumner Road, Croydon.

They are currently in custody for other matters, and will be appearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court via video link on 3 May 2017.

In addition, Jordan Weston has also been charged with GBH with intent in relation to another stabbing that took place in the vicinity of Gloucester Park on 4 July 2016.   He will appear in relation to this matter on the same date as above.
