Officers in Cheltenham are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a fractured jaw when his wallet was stolen.

In the early hours of last Thursday (8 June) morning a 21-year-old man was assaulted while he was walking along Cheltenham high street.

At some time between 1am and 1.30am the victim was robbed of his wallet and sustained two fractures to his jaw.

We are now appealing for witnesses as the victim cannot remember anything about the incident.

He was last seen outside MooMoo Clubroom on Regent Street and travelled to KFC on Pittville Street.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information, should contact police on 101 and quote incident number 24 of 8/6/17.
