A man remains in a serious condition following a collision between a bus and a pedestrian in Stroud last night.

The incident happened in Westward Road, Ebley at 11pm yesterday (Monday 18 April).

A 20-year-old Stroud man was in collision with a Stagecoach single decker bus and was taken by ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

He remains there this morning in a serious condition.

The road was closed until 4.30am today while a collision investigation took place.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or events immediately prior to the collision and have not spoken to police should call 101 and quote incident 503 of 18 April.
