We've been asked to share the release below by Wiltshire Police who have recovered some stolen fishing equipment which may have been stolen in Gloucestershire.

Wiltshire Police officers visited an address in Wanborough, Swindon on Tuesday 12 September 2017 after being called by a member of the public reporting a number of stolen items on the premises. 

A search of the address was conducted by Wiltshire Police officers and a large quantity of fishing equipment, believed to be stolen, was found and seized. 

A 40-year-old local man was arrested for theft and handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation.

PC Dale Townsend said:  "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have had fishing gear recently stolen - especially if you live in the South Cerney and wider Gloucestershire area."
