Officers in Tewkesbury want to hear from anyone who has information about upsetting vandalism at a cemetery.
Damage has been caused to a number of headstones, vases, decorations and ornaments at Tewkesbury Cemetery on Gloucester Road.
The heads have also been removed off a number of ornaments and figurines which had been placed on a child's grave.
Tewkesbury sergeant Alison Stuart said inquiries are ongoing and officers are determined to locate the offender.
She added: "This type of crime is deeply disturbing, upsetting and totally unacceptable. We are working hard to determine who is responsible for such a malicious crime and would urge any witnesses or anyone with information to contact us."
It is thought that the damage was caused some time in the past two weeks and we would urge anyone who may have family or friends laid to rest in the site to visit the cemetery and check for damage.
Gloucestershire Constabulary received similar reports in August where a number of headstones were damaged and officers are treating all of these incidents as being linked.
Anyone with information, who has not yet spoken to police, should call 101 or email email@example.com and quote incident 273 of 29 October.
