Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following reports that two girls, aged 9 and 11, were approached by two men in a car in Gloucester.

The girls, one playing on her scooter, were outside the Moorfield Road flats near the shops in Brockworth  (Moorfield Road/Tamar Road junction) when a black car pulled up alongside them and asked if they wanted a lift home.  Both girls declined and there was no attempt to reach out to the girls.  This happened at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 21 February.

The driver is described as black and 'quite old' with an eastern European accent and the passenger is a white or mixed heritage male with a 'wrinkly face'.  The car driver was wearing a denim jacket.

If anyone saw a black car, possibly a Renault Clio,  driving around the area of the Moorfield Road flats or has any information that help police with their enquiries please call 101 quoting incident number 340 of 21 February 2017.
