We’re appealing for further information about an incident which took place in Gloucester during the early hours of Sunday morning (11 February).

At around 4am, a 20-year-old female was assaulted on the junction of Station Road and Whitfield Street before having her silver iPhone 8 stolen.

A group of six youths are believed to have been in an altercation with the female which broke out after a disagreement and it’s thought that this is when her mobile phone was stolen.

The offenders are believed to have left in the direction of Eastgate Street.

A 14-year-old boy from Gloucester, 15-year-old boy from Stroud, 13-year-old girl from Gloucester, 15-year-old girl from Cheltenham and two 14-year-old girls from Gloucester have been arrested in connection with the incident.

It’s understood that a blue BMW was seen in the area at the time and the occupants may have witnessed the incident.
