Gloucestershire Constabulary is investigating a fatal collision in Cheltenham last night, Thursday 5 October.

At approximately 11.45pm a blue Vauxhall Corsa with three teenage male occupants collided with a dry stone wall on Cotswold Way, off Aggs hill in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham.

A 16-year-old, believed to be the driver, was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment but sadly died in the early hours of this morning due to injuries sustained in the collision.

The two other occupants, aged 15 and 16-years-old were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision to call 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk and quote incident 492 of 5/10.
