Gloucestershire Constabulary are appealing for information following an incident in the area of Coronation Square and Edinburgh Place area of Cheltenham.

On Friday 15 September an elderly man (75)  who has dementia was pushed and robbed of two brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 mobile phones as he walked in that location.   We'd like to know if anyone saw this incident or saw the victim at any time between the hours of 4pm and 8pm.

The victim was wearing dark trousers, a barber jacket and flat cap.  He would have been carrying a black satchel over his shoulder and newspaper under his arm.  The phones were in a Carphone Warehouse carrier bag.  He would have appeared quite confused and has been unable to give the exact time and place of the incident.

The offender is described as a male youth wearing a hooded jumper with the hood up.  He could have been riding a bicycle.

We'd like to speak to anyone who saw the victim or anything suspicious.  Please call 101 quoting incident number 283 of 17 September 2017.
