Police in Cirencester are urging the driver of a 4x4 vehicle that collided with a cyclist on Grove Lane roundabout to come forward.

The incident happened at around 8.10pm on Thursday 21 July.

The black 4x4 collided with the cyclist's bike as he was turning off the roundabout heading into town.

The driver of the car stopped momentarily before continuing.

The cyclist was left shocked and shaken up and couldn't take the number plate of the car.

He attended hospital in Swindon and had suffered a laceration to his elbow, soft tissue damage to his left calf and numerous cuts and bruises to his leg, hip and backside.

The driver of the 4x4, or anyone else with information should call 101 and quote incident 151 of 23 July.
