Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses after CCTV footage shows that a window was smashed at Butler’s Venue Bar on Eastgate Street, Gloucester earlier this month.

The incident which took place at just before 7.25pm on Thursday 12 October saw a male driver stop outside of the bar before picking up a brick and throwing it at one of the glass windows.

The male then got back into his vehicle and drove away.

The offender is described as a white male in his mid-twenties and was driving a blue BMW convertible. He has brown hair, is of slim build and around 5ft 10ins tall.

He was wearing a white t-shirt with black jeans and dark coloured footwear.

It’s believed that the suspect may be from Hereford.

The BMW was seen outside of the bar around two and a half hours after the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk and quote incident number 477 of 12 October.
