Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary which took place in Frampton on Severn over the weekend.

The burglary at a property on The Street took place between 4.40pm and 5.25pm on Saturday.

It’s believed that offenders gained entry to the house by breaking the rear door before searching the property.

A large heavy safe was stolen during the burglary and we think that it would have taken multiple people and a vehicle to leave with this.

Investigations are ongoing and witnesses can contact the police by calling 101 or emailing 101@gloucestershire.police.uk and quoting incident number 298 of 6 January.

Alternatively you can anonymously call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
