Police are appealing for information after burglars raided a home in Moreton-in-Marsh, then made off in the homeowner's car.

The break-in happened at a farmhouse in Stow Road between 7.40pm last Saturday (11 March), and 3.30am the following morning.

The thieves forced open a window to get into the property, and stole jewellery, cash and car keys.

The householder's gold-coloured Volvo XC90 with the registration number KT15 KKJ was then driven away. Police have released an image of the vehicle in the hope that someone may have seen it or know its whereabouts and come forward.

Anyone with information about the car or the burglary, is asked to call 101 quoting incident 72 of 12/3/17.
