Gloucestershire Constabulary is seeking information following a burglary in Upton St Leonards, Gloucester, in the early hours of last Saturday.

The burglary at a property on High Street took place sometime between the hours of 11:30pm on Friday 22 September and 08:30am on Saturday 23 September.

Offenders forced their way onto the land before entering the property.

Once inside, the unknown offenders located a ladies handbag along with two sets of car keys.

These keys were used to steal a silver Ford pick-up truck, dark grey Toyota Rav4 SUV and a TomTom Sat-Nav.

As well as this multiple STIHL brand power tools were taken from both a detached shed and the rear compartment of another vehicle.

The handbag was later retrieved from a field to the left of the property however cash had been stolen from inside.

Now that the darker nights are here, PC Elle Macleod said “I encourage anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward, and I would also like to urge people to consider their home security."
