We are appealing for witnesses to an incident which happened in Cirencester yesterday, Wednesday 20 September, where a store owner was threatened and a cash till was stolen.

At around 6pm yesterday a man wearing sunglasses and a white dust mask entered a store on Countess Lilias Road and threatened a member of staff.

The offender, described as being 5ft 6ins tall, aged in his 20s and wearing blue joggers, fled the store on foot carrying the till and was last seen running along Oakley Road.

No one was injured in the incident although the member of staff was shaken up.
