Police would like to speak to the driver of a silver Ford Focus which was involved in a collision with a pedal cyclist on 22nd November.

The collision took place at 12.15pm on Painswick Road, Gloucester at the junction of Chequers Road.

The cyclist was travelling towards Eastern Avenue when he was hit from behind by the Ford Focus, which failed to stop at the scene.

The cyclist, a 58 year old man, fell to the ground and suffered bruising to his arms and legs as well as damage to his bicycle.

The car’s nearside body coloured wing mirror casing and mirrored glass were left at the scene following the collision and we are appealing for witnesses to help trace both the car and driver.

Any witnesses are asked to call 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk and quote incident number 189 of 22 November.
