Power tools stolen from vans in Cirencester

Six work vans parked in the yard of a landscape gardening company in Baunton Lane, Cirencester, were broken into during the night. A number of power tools including leaf blowers, a disc cutter and a power saw were taken. Anyone in the area between 12.15am and 1.30am this morning (Thursday, 27 April) who saw anything suspicious or who knows anything about this theft is asked to call 101, quoting incident 66 of 27/4/17.

Bike stolen from churchyard in Stroud

A man's bike was stolen from a churchyard in Stroud earlier this month. The white mountain bike, believed to be a Carrera model, was left next to a tree in St Lawrence Church next to the High Street by a 66-year-old man. Plant equipment stolen from building site at Huntley

A cement mixer, two extension cables and a kettle have been stolen from a house under construction in Huntley, near Gloucester. The burglary happened between 1pm on Saturday 1 April and 11am on Sunday 2 April at the site next to Huntley Court on Ross Road. The mixer is an orange-coloured petrol-driven Bell mixer and the cable-make is Thornman. Anyone who knows anything about this theft is asked to call 101, quoting incident 244 of 2/4/17.

Man assaulted in Southgate Street, Gloucester

A man was assaulted in Southgate Street, Gloucester, at about 1.25pm on Tuesday 11 April. The offender threatened the victim, pushed him in the chest and grabbed his mobile phone which he threw at the wall of the Southgate House office block, causing the screen to smash. The incident happened next to the bus stop just as a bus was pulling in. Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to call 101, quoting incident 240 of 11/4/17.

Robbery near Metz Way

We've exhausted all lines of enquiry and we need your help with the following robbery please. It happened on Saturday 18 February at 9.20pm on the footpath from Colway School near to Metz Way, Gloucester. A man, walking on the pathway, was hit from behind and he blacked out for a few minutes and the offender stole his mobile phone, cash and cigarettes. Are you the woman who was nearly struck by a car that went through red lights in Gloucester?

A car narrowly missed a mother and a toddler in a pushchair after driving through red lights on Bruton Way in Gloucester. The motorist just avoided the woman pedestrian and child, who were crossing the road towards the central reservation. The car, possibly a blue Vauxhall Vectra, had gone through the red lights shortly after a white Peugeot had done the same. Officers want to speak to the pedestrian, who is believed to have been shaken up by the incident or any witnesses.

Concern about potential dog thefts in Bourton-on-the-Water

We are warning dog owners in Bourton on the Water to be vigiliant. We have received reports of a man possibly attempting to steal dogs. Residents reported concerns after seeing him in their gardens carrying a handful of loose dog leads and harnesses. He has been seen with a white terrier dog. He is white, around 5’ 8” tall with short black hair. He was wearing a red and black jacket, aged in his early twenties. Please call 101 quoting incident number 510 of 20 April 2017.
