Community Highlighted Concern

What is a community highlighted concern?

A community highlighted concern is what your Neighbourhood team will be working on as a priority for your area. These are identified on a monthly basis as a result of a police priority setting meeting which take into account:

  • Information provided to the Community Safety Partnership
  • Information received from your local councillor
  • Community concerns raised through this website

Once prioritised your local team will work towards tackling these issues with the community and if necessary utilise the Time Based Tasking [TBT] process.

1. Safe and Social Driving

1/22/2018 12:00:00 AM;

Community led policing priority for Fairdford & Lechlade is based on the Police and Crime Commissioner's priority of "Safe and Social Driving" and will be focusing on excess speed on local roads and HGVs ignoring size prohibitions put in place to protect a historic bridge in the area.
