Community Highlighted Concern

What is a community highlighted concern?

A community highlighted concern is what your Neighbourhood team will be working on as a priority for your area. These are identified on a monthly basis as a result of a police priority setting meeting which take into account:

  • Information provided to the Community Safety Partnership
  • Information received from your local councillor
  • Community concerns raised through this website

Once prioritised your local team will work towards tackling these issues with the community and if necessary utilise the Time Based Tasking [TBT] process.

Farah Devji-Large is a dedicated PCSO for Glevum West, Brockworth and Shurdington

I have worked for Gloucestershire Constabulary for 20 years, 14 of those as a Police Community Support Officer, being one of the second intake of PCSO’s . My job has seen me serve in many areas of Gloucestershire, mainly in the position of Neighbourhood Policing and I now fulfill that role for the residents of Shurdington, Brockworth and surrounding areas, a role I greatly enjoy. I am always available if residents have any issues regarding Policing in these areas, and always enjoy my interaction with the public.

Jenny Norris is a dedicated PCSO for Glevum West, Brockworth and Shurdington

I joined the Gloucestershire Constabulary in February 2004, starting at Churchdown Police Station, which involved me covering the Glevum West area Churchdown, Brockworth, Shurdington and surrounding areas. I worked this area for 7 years before moving to Winchcombe, where I covered a more rural area for approximately 3 years. I enjoy policing the farming community, and was given the opportunity to train as a wildlife officer in 2013. I am back policing the Glevum West community and very much enjoy both aspects of my role, the rural and the neighbourhood policing.
