Community Highlighted Concern

What is a community highlighted concern?

A community highlighted concern is what your Neighbourhood team will be working on as a priority for your area. These are identified on a monthly basis as a result of a police priority setting meeting which take into account:

  • Information provided to the Community Safety Partnership
  • Information received from your local councillor
  • Community concerns raised through this website

Once prioritised your local team will work towards tackling these issues with the community and if necessary utilise the Time Based Tasking [TBT] process.

Antisocial Behaviour

17/07/2018

The Community led Policing priority for Bishops Cleeve is Anti Social Behaviour and will be focusing on Anti Social Behaviour around and in the Tithe Barn area, Bishops Cleeve library, The Green and Selborne Road.

Update

14/08/2018

This priority has been reviewed on 14/08/2018 and remains the main focus of the Neighbourhood Policing Team in this area. PC Sam Kaye and PCSO 9236 Wayne Lippett have conducted Pro Active patrols of the area and a person has been arrested for a breach of injunction in relation to the ASB. This priority is linked to the Police and Crime Commissioners priority of ‘Accessibility and Accountability.

Wayne Lippett is a dedicated PCSO for Bishops Cleeve

I joined the Police in 2008 starting at Hester’s way Police station in Cheltenham and enjoyed working in the springbank area for 8 years. Since August 2016 I have been stationed at Tewkesbury Police Station covering Cleeve and Winchcombe.

I am passionate about Neighbourhood Policing and proud to be part of a dedicated team working hard to reduce crime and keep people safe. I feel early intervention with young people is a key part of the role I perform and being available to listen to concerns from the local community.

Jordan Rees is a dedicated PCSO for Bishops Cleeve

I have been working for the Constabulary for almost 5 years. The first 4 years were spent working in Custody Suites as a Detention Officer across the county before moving into Compass House when they opened in 2015.

I started the role as a PCSO in the summer of 2017 where I am based at Tewkesbury Police Station. The area I cover is Bishop’s Cleeve.

My main interests of the job are working closely with the local communities, gathering intelligence, building trust and reducing crime and Anti-Social Behaviour. I work with a fantastic team and no 2 days are the same.
