PCSO Andy Millar has been with the Constabulary for nearly 4½ years.
This is not the first time he has worked for us though. He initially joined us, in the Force Control Room, upon leaving the Army. He stayed with us for 12½ years before moving on to the Highways England Traffic Officer Service.
He returned to the Force Control Room in March 2014, and then took up his current role in June 2017. He is the PCSO for Hucclecote and Coopers Edge.
Andy is an experienced officer, with his varied roles, however, he is enjoying his role within the community he covers. He says that he really enjoys working within the diversity of the local community and the variety of incidents always means that no two days are the same.
Andy has also worked as a Prison Officer and a Long Distance tanker driver.
In his spare time Andy volunteers with the County’s Army Cadet organisation.
