Community Highlighted Concern

What is a community highlighted concern?

A community highlighted concern is what your Neighbourhood team will be working on as a priority for your area. These are identified on a monthly basis as a result of a police priority setting meeting which take into account:

  • Information provided to the Community Safety Partnership
  • Information received from your local councillor
  • Community concerns raised through this website

Once prioritised your local team will work towards tackling these issues with the community and if necessary utilise the Time Based Tasking [TBT] process.

Burglary & Crime Prevention

22/08/2018

Community led policing priority for Leckhampton is based on the Police and Crime Commissioner's priority of "Accessibility and Accountability" and "Older but not overlooked". Patrols continue in the local area, to deter burglaries, of which it seems the homes are been targeted for the high end Vehicles parked outside. A gentle reminder Please do NOT Leave Vehicle Keys on display through windows or near Front or Back Doors. Crime Prevention Surveys are also being carried out on those older members of the community, where their properties seem more vulnerable to criminals. If you require a Crime prevention survey, please make contact. Please continue to be vigilant and sign up to the Community Alerts through your local PCSO.
