Community Highlighted Concern

What is a community highlighted concern?

A community highlighted concern is what your Neighbourhood team will be working on as a priority for your area. These are identified on a monthly basis as a result of a police priority setting meeting which take into account:

  • Information provided to the Community Safety Partnership
  • Information received from your local councillor
  • Community concerns raised through this website

Once prioritised your local team will work towards tackling these issues with the community and if necessary utilise the Time Based Tasking [TBT] process.

Vehicle Crime

24/05/2018

Community led policing priority for Fairview is based on the Police and Crime Commissioner's priority of "Accessibility and Accountability" and will be focusing on vehicle crime in the area, carrying out High Visibility patrols and knocking on houses where they can see items left in vehicles that are on display, making their vehicle vulnerable to opportunist criminals, passing by.
