It is alleged that the officer
made a comment directed to vulnerable children that could reasonably be perceived as offensive, discourteous, derogatory and degrading.
If proven this allegation has been assessed as being sufficiently serious so as to amount to gross misconduct.
This hearing will be held in public.
It is a condition of entry to the proceedings that any person attending shall not write down or record/reveal or otherwise transmit or share with any person outside of the hearing room, the identity of any persons as directed by the Chair of the proceedings, inclusive by name or any other names or any information that could or tends to identify such persons either during the proceedings or at any time after the proceedings. Attendance at the hearing is conditional on complying with this restriction.
