If you would like to give information about a crime or an appeal but would like to remain anonymous so that no one knows it was you that gave the information, you can do this through Crimestoppers.

To give information anonymously:

  • report online using Crimestoppers secure form, or
  • or phone 0800 555 111 anytime from anywhere in the country

Crimestoppers will ensure that you remain anonymous, as:

  • you won't be asked your name, address or phone number
  • we will NOT contact you - if you want to ring us back we will give you a code number
  • you won't have to go to court
  • no-one will ever know who gave the police the information

You may get a cash reward if your information leads to someone being arrested and charged, but you will still remain anonymous even when claiming a reward.
