We require written confirmation within 7 days of any transfer.
Weapon transfers include all Sold/Purchased/Gifted/Lodged for safe store etc. Any weapon that is in another person’s possession for over 72 hours needs to have written confirmation.
Firearms legislation requires ANY transactions regarding any weapons involving all certificate holders to be undertaken in person.
Any person passing a shotgun to you, must fill in Table 2 of your Certificate, Table 1 for a Firearm. A form is provided below to assist with these statutory responsibilities. Failure to complete your certificate may constitute an offence.
