11(6) exemption application

This form must be filled out by the shoot organiser.

You should submit this form at least four weeks before you plan to shoot.

We will ask you to upload your:

• Insurance certificate
• Area plan of the shoot
• Risk assessment
• Planning permission (if required)

After we've checked your application, someone from the firearms licensing department will be in touch to discuss it with you.

You must not hold a shoot until you receive written confirmation that you are able to do so.

You should read and understand your obligations under the Firearms Act 1968.
