Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a broken nose during a nightclub assault in Gloucester.

The incident happened between 12:20am and 12:40am on Sunday 3 December in Bar Fever on Eastgate Street in Gloucester.

The 23-year-old victim had been on the dance floor in the back bar area with a group of friends when an unknown offender grabbed his top.

He was punched in the face and sustained facial injuries which still require hospital treatment.

The offender is described as a white male, around 6ft/6ft 2ins in height and he was wearing a grey top/jumper with a yellow motif on the front. He left the nightclub and was seen in the Andy Cars taxi waiting area on Eastgate Street.

Any witnesses or anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police should call 101 or email and quote incident 246 of 3 December.
