Chief Officer Expenses
Expenses are reimbursed where it is has been necessarily incurred whilst exercising their duties. These expenses will be proactively published and will now updated monthly within two months of the end of the month.
Since January 2010 it has be possible to differentiate between travel expenses incurred on Gloucestershire Constabulary business, Regional business and that arising from Association of Chief Police Officers national business.
The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) is an independent, professionally led strategic body. In the public interest and, in equal and active partnership with Government and the Association of Police Authorities, ACPO leads and coordinates the direction and development of the police service in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. In times of national need ACPO - on behalf of all chief officers – coordinates the strategic policing response.
