Roman Cooper joined the Gloucestershire Crimestoppers board in April 2009.
Roman is one of the founding Directors of Allcooper Security and Fire, who are one of the largest independent electronic fire and security companies in the UK.
The business was founded in 1987 by the Cooper family and now employ 60+ staff and have many thousands of customers. Roman was born in Gloucester and went to St Peter’s High School. He left St Peter's at 16 and attended GLOSCAT to do his A levels. He returned a couple of years later to start his electrical apprenticeship and successfully completed the course. He has worked his way up through the company to his current position as Managing Director.
In order to support this role, Roman began a Masters Degree in Business Administration at Gloucestershire University in 2003, and successfully graduated in 2006.
Allcoopers are long term supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and major sponsors of Gloucester Rugby Club and Cheltenham Cricket Club.
Roman believes that the work Crimestoppers carries out is crucial in the fight against crime and welcomes the opportunity to lend his support to the Board.
