Police Information Points

Police Information Points are set up in various locations over the Forest North INA.  They are very visible and in place for residents to pass information to local officers who look after their P.I.P.  They are also well stocked with crime prevention information along with any relevant 'local' information which is particular to the area where they are located.

You will find a black folder near the P.I.P  where you can place an item of concern straight into the folder.  Local officers check and sign after each visit and make sure information entered by residents has or will be dealt with.  Typically residents may have concerns about speeding vehicles/nuisance behaviour or concerns which might not be police related but can be passed onto  local council neighbourhood wardens to address such as dog fouling or local authority housing issues.
