Our Local Policing Pledge to you:

Our local pledge to you is to supply you with your local community policing team contacts, dates of your next neighbourhood policing meetings, details of your local priorities and the work being carried out towards those priorities. Our commitment for SCT staff is to spend 80% of their time visibly working in your neighbourhood, tackling your priorities. If you want to know how you can contribute to the priority settings and other work within your neighbourhood use the contact form at the bottom of your SCT homepage.

Crime Statistics

There are two types of figures available through this webpage. The 'Community Performance Statistics' can be viewed via a link at the top of this page. Crimemapper information can be viewed via the Crimemapper link. There are differences in the two sets of information/figures. Crimemapper displays statistical information on an interactive maps at a Safer Community Team level. The Crimemapper information is accompanied by a "find out more" tab, which contains contact details and information about the team also a commentary explaining the action being taken by the local police in relation to any 'trends' contained within the data. The 'Community Performance Statistics' are produced at the lower (and more detailed) community detail.

If you have questions about these issues, or have information regarding a possible solution to these problems, please use the form on the Contact us tab at the top of your Safer Community Team's homepage to tell us how you can help, how we can contact you, or what we should prioritise and why.

Next public meetings

Details of the next public meetings available to you can be found by clicking the events diary link below. Please note that PiPs are Police Information Points, they are notice boards containing information relevant to your local community. The Safer Community Teams staff the PiPs at the times indicated in the diary of events. Please feel free to speak to the teams during these events. They want to hear your views and concerns.
