Profiles for your Community Officers
Profile of PS Alec Linton
I joined the Constabulary in 1997 having lived in Gloucestershire for most of my life. I initially worked in a variety of communities in Gloucester and the Forest of Dean and was Seconded to the Princes Trust Volunteers before spending a year as a Firearms officer. I was promoted to Sergeant in Gloucester City leading the community team before working as a Custody Sergeant in Gloucester Cells. I then managed the Custody Suite for a year before managing the Logistics team at Gloucester then moving to Tewkesbury as part of the restructure in 2011. I am now responsible for the Golden Vale, Severnbanks and Glevum West Communities. My main priorities are to identify the areas that are suffering most harm or the individuals that are causing most harm and to tackle those areas or individuals. I am fortunate to have a great team to assist me so if you have any community concerns please inform me by calling 101 or emailing: tewkesbury.LPA.Communities@gloucestershire.police.uk
