Profiles for your Community Officers

PS Ray Warmington

I joined Gloucestershire Constabulary in 2002 after transferring from the Met police. I initially started as a response officer at Leckhampton police station but was also posted for short periods in Whaddon (Cheltenham) and Tewkesbury. I have previously worked with the Cheltenham Priority Policing team, tackling dwelling burglaries/local priorities and spent a few years working in Stroud CID office. I came back to Tewkesbury in late March 2014 on promotion and to coordinate the work in the communities of Glevum West, Golden Vale and Severn Banks. The role is very interesting, albeit at times, it can be challenging and provides the unique opportunity to work closely with partner agencies with a view to solving long term anti-social behaviour issues. The role also involves working with the most vulnerable individuals in society with an emphasis on safeguarding.
