Tackling Anti Social Behaviour - Project SOLACE

Project SOLACE

What is Project SOLACE?

Project Solace logoGloucester City Homes in partnership with Gloucestershire Constabulary and Gloucester City Council’s Community, Safety Partnership has set up a new service for tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the City of Gloucester.

Project Solace is a multi-agency team consisting of 2 Officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary and an ASB Officer from Gloucester City Council whose sole purpose is to tackle high level ASB and prevent incidents of ASB within the private sector of the City.

The team is managed under the expertise of GCH’s ASB Team and works alongside the Local Policing Team to provide a service for residents who are experiencing ASB caused by people who live in private rented properties, own their own homes or where ASB is not specifically linked to a property and an area instead.

Project Solace will work with local communities and partner agencies such as the Police, Environmental Health and support services to reduce ASB through providing a holistic, effective and swift service.

What can Project SOLACE do to help?

Project SOLACE will:

  • Offer advice and support to victims of anti-social behaviour
  • Aim to deal with Anti-Social Behaviour cases quickly and effectively
  • Work with Police Safer Community Teams and other local agencies to investigate cases thoroughly
  • Keep victims and complainants informed throughout
  • Advise you clearly of what action we are able to take, and how we need you to work with us to achieve it
  • Work with perpetrators to modify their behaviour
  • Make referrals to other agencies if you feel you need ongoing support.
