Crime Reduction advice from the Tetbury Policing Team

With the clocks going back making our evenings increasingly darker, this can historically lead to a rise in crime as criminals have more time to work under the cover of darkness.

A few simple precautions can prevent your home from looking vulnerable and becoming a target for thieves. Putting lights, a TV or a radio on a timer can help avoid the property looking empty.

As soon as lights go on, make sure curtains are closed to ensure no one has a free view of the inside of your house. Ensure garden tools and implements are securely locked away.

Tips on security are also available on this website, please click here for advice on Crime reduction.

We also offer a crime reduction survey, where an officer will attend your property, both residential & commercial and offer advice on security measures and answer questions.

If any resident would like to book an appointment they can use the email address below

Requests can also be made via the website (address above) or the 101 non emergency telephone number.

Many Thanks
