Pc 1841 Matt Shorter - Tetbury & Avening Community
My name is Pc Matt Shorter and cover Tetbury and the surrounding areas within the Cotswold LPA. I joined the Constabulary in June 2004 where I started as a response driver in Cirencester. I did this for approximately 3 years, and then joined a proactive unit also based in Cirencester.
Having enjoyed this experience for a year I then moved to Tetbury as an area officer, prior to joining now what is called the Local Policing team.
I have been in post for approximately three years and have enjoyed working in the area and with the community. The role allows the opportunity to establish strong links with local organisations so that we can establish long term solutions to issues.
