Our local pledge to you is to supply you with your local community policing team contacts, dates of your next neighbourhood policing meetings, details of your local priorities and the work being carried out towards those priorities. Our commitment for Local Policing Team's (LPT) is to spend 80% of their time visibly working in your neighbourhood, tackling your priorities. Speed Checks

On 28/03/14 and 29/03/14 Police Officers and PCSO’S  from Cirencester Police Station conducted speed checks in the different parts of Cirencester. This was to target motorists who drive motor vehicles whist using a mobile phone, not wearing a seat belt and speeding. The purpose of this operation was to educate motorists as appose to prosecuting. Over the 2 days over 50 motorists were stopped.   

Neighbourhood Co-ordination Group Actions

On 02/04/14 the Police Neighbourhood Co-ordination Group (NCG) was held at St Lawrence Church in Cirencester. Many items were discussed in relation to burglaries, speeding and anti-social use of motor vehicles on our roads. A neighbourhood priority was set in relation to speeding whereby the local Policing team would conduct speed checks at different times of the day.

Cirencester PCSO's

Currently there are 3 Police Community Support Officers looking after Cirencester. We are PCSO Simon King, PCSO Beverley Williams and PCSO Renee Broad. We all work on different shift cycles so there is usually one of us on duty during the day or evening. 

When its less urgent than 999 ring 101We are happy to attend any meetings about the community and will also visit Schools, Play groups and Community Groups to talk about local Policing.

Cirencester police station is a 24-hour, fully operational station, with officers patrolling from there 24 hours, 7 days per week.

The police station reception office, for public enquiries made in person, is open at the above times.

When this police station reception is closed, there is a 'help point' facility next to the main door. If you need to attend a police station in person, your nearest police station reception is located at Stroud , until 8.00 pm weekdays, or 5.00pm at weekends.
If Stroud reception is closed, Gloucester police station reception office is open until 10.00 pm, Monday - Thursday; Midnight on Friday and Saturday; and 5.00 pm on Sunday.
