Police motorcyclists help members of the public become safer, more competent riders. They pass on knowledge, skills and experience and can help to increase ability and confidence, to get even more enjoyment from riding a motorcycle
|During the season we assist other BikeSafe coordinators to speak with motorcyclists and "bridge the gap", this season so far we have been to Poole Biker night.... pictured below, the National Bikesafe event at The Heritage Motor Centre in September as well as attending most of the "Gloucestershire Biker Nites".... |

Bikesafe Workshop at SkillZone
Cheltenham Mayor, (Cllr Colin Hay) a keen motorcyclist attended our first workshop on Sunday 21st April at the SkillZONE, Tuffley Lane Gloucester and spoke to the attendees before they rode out for their observed rides.

Motorcycle industry pulls together to fight theft.
Recognising the effect that motorcycle crime is having on the motorcycle community, the Motorcycle Industry Association (MCI), has launched an official security marking scheme called The MASTER* Security Scheme to be utilised by its motorcycle members. Figures from the MCI show an estimated 43% of all insurance total loss payouts are due to theft and added to this the figures from the Motorcycle Crime Reduction Group suggest that 40% of victims of motorcycle theft leave the motorcycle community.
